Senior Specialist, Communications and Workload - Store Operations
The Senior Specialist, Communications and Workload will work closely with the Store Communications and Workload team to ensure delivery of clear, concise, and timely communication and tasks to stores with a focus on driving sales and profit. In this role the Sr. Specialist will assist in the management and support of the workload management tool as well as the various communications tools utilized by the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists and supports implementation, administration and monitoring of programs and functions that support Store Operations' objectives and strategies of assigned area.
- Creates or maintains reports for Stores and other management associates relevant to assigned area. Assures accuracy so report has valid business analysis value.
- Maintains and monitors factors of assigned area, current business status, and identifies opportunities for improvement to meet business objectives.
- Supports the Intranet Stores Homepage by managing content and postings to ensure accurate, timely, and simple communication to stores.
- Assists in the design of communication material delivered to Stores and senior management, using Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Assists manager of assigned area in the execution and implementation of assigned functions and special projects. Participates in planning functions as requested.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Previous retail experience required (store experience preferred)
- 2-4 years of experience within a corporate environment
- Exhibits high standards and accountability; takes pride in accuracy
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Able to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skill; organizational skills and attention to detail
