Job Summary

The Application Specialist for Molecular Imaging (MI) will provide expert support and education for MI systems. This role involves training customers, resolving issues, supporting sales efforts, and contributing to the development of training materials. The specialist will also play a key role in the R&D/CRM process by addressing customer needs and providing troubleshooting expertise. Provide on-site training and education for Molecular Imaging systems, including demonstrations, updates, and upgrades for standard systems and applications.

  • Offer expert advice and support to improve individual workflows, including clinical application adjustments, system parameter modifications, and the implementation of new methods and clinical workflows.
  • Deliver prompt and effective support to resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Assist the sales team with product demonstrations, preparation of clinical case studies, presenting images to clinicians and physicians, new product learning, and coaching new recruits.
  • Contribute to the development of application training courses for customers, both on-site and at United Imaging.
  • Support the R&D/CRM process by addressing customer needs and issues, and providing troubleshooting expertise.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a radiology technologist or radiographer in a healthcare or clinical setting, with at least 3 years of experience as an application specialist in a specific modality field.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in research or case studies related to Molecular Imaging is advantageous..

Working Conditions:

Magnetic Environment Exposure:

This position requires working in an environment where strong magnetic fields may be present. Employees may be exposed to powerful magnets, electromagnetic equipment, or other devices that generate magnetic fields.

Risk to Ferrous Metals in the Body:

Due to the nature of the magnetic environment, employees must not wear or carry ferrous metals on their person while in the designated work area. This includes, but is not limited to, metal objects such as steel, iron, and other ferrous materials. Additionally, employees with implants, medical devices, or foreign objects containing ferrous metals within their body (e.g., certain surgical implants, pacemakers, or metal pins) may be at risk and must disclose any such conditions to their supervisor prior to starting work.
