Quick Lube Technician
Job Summary: The Quick Lube Technician at Longview Autoplex is responsible for performing routine maintenance services on vehicles, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently. This individual will primarily work in the quick lube area of the dealership, handling oil changes, tire rotations, and other minor maintenance tasks. This is a full-time, salaried position in the automotive industry, located in Hurst, Texas and will report to the Service Manager. Compensation & Benefits:

- Perform oil changes and other minor maintenance tasks on vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect and top off fluid levels, including coolant, transmission, brake, and power steering fluids
- Rotate tires and perform regular tire checks and maintenance
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and address them accordingly
- Keep accurate records of services performed and recommendations for future maintenance needs
- Communicate with Service Advisors and other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed properly and on time
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working on vehicles
- Clean and maintain the quick lube area and tools and equipment used
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in an automotive service environment preferred, but not required
- ASE Certification a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
