A busy retail pharmacy in Austin, TX is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity. This full-time position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule and the chance to grow into a long-term role.

Were looking for an experienced technician with a strong background in sterile compounding who can also support retail pharmacy operations and assist with infusion work as needed. This role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks, contract to hire

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license

• PTCB certification

• ACPE-certified in sterile compounding

• At least 1-2 years of recent sterile compounding experience

• Proficiency with PioneerRx system

• Strong knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and USP standards

• Solid understanding of aseptic technique, lab hygiene, and inventory management

Job Duties Include:

• Preparing sterile compounded medications

• Supporting retail prescription processing and data entry

• Following USP guidelines and state regulations

• Maintaining a clean and compliant compounding environment

• Collaborating with team members and offering assistance wherever needed
