Sales Consultant - San Marcos

• Base: 3,500/monthly + 15% Commission
• Earning potential of $60K to $80K annually

• Provide outstanding service to determine customer's overall flooring & design needs
• Build strong relationships & ensure consistent follow-up with new/existing clients
• Schedule appointments for showroom or home consultations to meet with clients
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided
• Gather space/area measurements & calculate number of materials
• Create/present project proposals to clients for approval, collect client payments & perform quality control on active projects
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability & order materials for active projects
• Manage time between showroom & prospecting for new business
• Join different networking groups & collect client reviews
• Maintain the showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

• Minimum of 2-4 years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Furniture Sales, Flooring Sales, Interior Design, or similar role
• A valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
• Ability to pass a background check (REQUIRED)
• A positive attitude & desire to exceed expectations
• Basic computer/social media knowledge & math skills
• Utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors/suppliers & clients
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting
• Exceptional critical thinking & problem-solving ability
• Strong personal & professional judgment
• Ability to adapt & respond quickly to customers' needs/wants
• Strong organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Ability to achieve sales goals effectively

• Advanced time management skills & detailed oriented
• Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of RFMS & Mobile Measure a plus (Willing to train)
