Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term care facility in Dallas, TX .
This role focuses on improving residents' communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities , helping enhance overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Provide therapy to improve communication, comprehension, and swallowing function
-
Reduce aspiration risk and support safe feeding practices
-
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and techniques
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
-
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
-
Active Texas SLP License (or Compact License)
-
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience REQUIRED
-
Experience in LTC or geriatric settings preferred
-
Strong communication and patient care skills
