Tax Resolution Specialist

Financial Planning & Tax Office in Houston, TX is looking for a Tax Resolution Specialist to join our team. We are dedicated to solving our clients' tax debt with integrity. Our firm prides itself in its operation, we work to build relationships with our clients. Our practice provides a full range of business and individual tax return filings, bookkeeping, payroll, business advisory, and tax resolution services. You will serve as the liaison between our clients and our tax professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to keep the client engaged throughout the resolution process. You will serve as the first line of response to clients and will be their primary point of contact throughout their services. Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Calling clients to request documents required to properly service a client’s case.
• Respond to inquiries from existing clients, receive inbound calls for status updates and execute outbound calls to provide status updates.
• Conduct financial analysis of taxpayer’s income, expenses and assets.
• Manage and prioritize cases depending on complexity.
• Act as the liaison between client and their assigned EA/Attorney or Tax Preparer.
• Interact with clients, Tax Professionals and other departments.
• Use time management skills to prioritize daily workload.
• Always provide an exceptional customer service experience in every customer facing interaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer service role
• A strong multitasker with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills.
• Proficient Computer skills
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Tax resolution experience or knowledge of tax resolution processes (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge and application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading skills. (Bilingual a plus)
• Capable and a self-starter work ethic
