Title: Facility Technician

Planet Fitness - Houston, TX

National health club franchise is now hiring a full-time Facility Technician to perform facility and equipment maintenance for its 35+ Houston-area locations.

Responsibilities include:

Fitness Equipment repair
Fitness Equipment preventive maintenance
General facility maintenance; including, but not limited to minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and sheet rock.

Candidate must have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Physical ability to move gym equipment
• Self-starter capabilities
• Team player attitude
• Mechanical aptitude
• Computer Literacy a must
• Ability to work with tools
• Valid US Work Authorization
• Valid Driver's License

Salaried position with benefits. Compensation dependent upon experience and applicable certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20-$25 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Mechanical repair on Fitness Equipment: 1 year (Preferred)

General Contractor Work: 1 year (Preferred)
Computer literacy in spreadsheets, email, and maintenance programs

License/Certification:

• Texas Driver’s License (Required)
• Life Fitness Certifications (Preferred)
• Hydromassage Certification (Preferred)
• Matrix Certification (Preferred)
