Trailer Lead

Summary:

The Trailer Lead is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the assembly of trailers on the production line. This role requires hands-on assembly work, strong leadership, and coordination skills to ensure team productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. The Trailer Lead will guide assemblers, monitor workflow, and serve as the point of contact for production updates and issue resolution.

Location: Mesquite, TX 75149

Schedule : 1st M-Thur 6am-4:30pm OT on Fridays as needed.

Pay rate: $16

Duties:

• Lead and support a small team of assemblers to meet daily production goals.

• Install axles, tires, wiring, lights, and other components per work order and factory specifications.

• Perform manual assembly using hand and power tools.

• Verify team members follow safety and quality standards.

• Test equipment for proper functionality and ensure accurate fitment.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress and issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.

• Ability to train, motivate, and coordinate a team effectively.

• Experience using tools such as torque wrenches, drills, and screw guns.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of electrical or mechanical assembly experience required.
