SAP BTP (CPI) Consultant

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP - Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Proven experience in full end-to-end CPI implementation projects.
• Experience integrating multiple systems (SAP and non-SAP).
• Strong knowledge of interface development and message mapping.
• Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting and CPI message processing.
• Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, and IDoc-based integrations.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite architecture and components.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite services (API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors).
• Exposure to SAP PI/PO to CPI migration projects.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation or migration programs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and transport management on SAP BTP.

SAP CPI / SAP BTP certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute end-to-end SAP CPI implementations, from design to deployment and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain interfaces and iFlows using SAP CPI.
• Build integrations between SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.) and non-SAP applications.
• Perform message mapping, data transformation, and enrichment using CPI tools, Groovy scripts, and XSLT.
• Configure and manage CPI adapters such as REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, SFTP, and JMS.
• Handle exception handling, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to gather and analyze integration requirements.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.
• Ensure secure integrations using certificates, OAuth, and authentication mechanisms.
• Prepare and maintain integration design documents and technical specifications.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements.
