Responsibilities

Navigate complex care journeys by synchronizing efforts between doctors, social workers, and specialists to ensure a seamless, holistic experience for patients and their families.

Advocate for timely patient treatment by managing insurance authorizations and medication access, removing financial and administrative barriers to care.

Lead the interdisciplinary team in setting clear care milestones, ensuring that every contributorfrom Child Life to Social Workis aligned with the patient's recovery goals.

Streamline the transition from hospital to home by coordinating necessary resources and medications, providing families with peace of mind and clarity.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

2+ years pediatric hematology/oncology experience;

CPHON certification, or obtained within 1 year of hire
