UFT Automation Test Engineer (SQL, PL/SQL)

Job Title: UFT Automation Test Engineer (SQL, PL/SQL, 8+ yrs)

Location: Austin,TX - Hybrid (Local to Austin only) (Within 50-mile radius).

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with peers and users at various organizational levels.
• Proven expertise in developing test suites using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) or similar automation tools.
• Proficient in using database query languages including SQL and PL/SQL.

• Skilled in creating and managing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• Experience in developing and executing detailed Test Scripts.
• Proficient in preparing comprehensive Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with general IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience using JIRA to manage project or sprint tasks.
• Background in working within an Agile SDLC environment.
• Proficient in tracking work assignments using Jira.
• Experience working on projects that use agile project management methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure their resolution through coordinated efforts with developers and other team members.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including traceability matrices and test plans.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support and coordinate user acceptance testing activities with end users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and test automation strategies.
