Corporate Security Manager (Onsite)
- Supervise daily activities of security staff, including scheduling, assignments, and performance management.
- Monitor access control systems, surveillance equipment, alarms, and facility entry points.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify safety or security hazards.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and escalations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Develop, implement, and update security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and security regulations.
- Oversee investigations related to theft, misconduct, or policy violations.
- Train and mentor security personnel contactor(s) on procedures, conflict resolution, and emergency response.
- Lead drills, safety training, and preparedness programs.
- Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and professionalism.
- Coordinate with HR, Facilities, IT, and external law-enforcement agencies as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date logs, incident reports, and security documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for all security-related matters.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Valid security license or certification (as required by state law).
- Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar credentials.
- Law Enforcement Certifications/Training
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs. as needed.
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Experience in corporate, healthcare, retail, or industrial security preferred.
- Familiarity with incident reporting software and workplace safety protocols preferred.
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift.
