Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (10-hour shifts with rotating day off). Call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Minimal weekend coverage (2 weekend shifts per contract).

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a 14-room operating room with a daily census of 45 patients
• Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimal call requirements with predictable scheduling

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1.5-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required experience in Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology procedures
• Preferred experience with DaVinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgery
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
