Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

About the Role

The BI Developer will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform source data into actionable insights. This role requires expertise in BI tools, data modeling, and ETL processes to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• BI Solution Development:
  
  
  
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI tools.
  
  
  • Develop scalable data models and optimize performance and usability.
  
  


• Data Integration & ETL:
  
  
  
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources including on premises and cloud sources. These systems include ERP, CRM and other custom data sources within the company.
  
  
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.
  
  


• Collaboration & Support:
  
  
  
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
  
  • Provide technical support for BI solutions and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  
  


• Performance & Security:
  
  
  
  • Implement best practices for data security and compliance.
  
  
  • Monitor and optimize BI system performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  
  


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • 3–5 years in BI development or similar roles.
  
  
  • Proven experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
  
  


• Technical Skills:
  
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  
  
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  
  
  • Experience with APIs and integration tools is a plus.
