Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level II or III trauma experience, TNCC certification, and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Position is located in an Emergency Department treating both adult and pediatric patients
• Level II or III trauma experience environment
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (must be willing to obtain if not already held)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in an equivalent-sized facility
• Level II or III trauma center experience required
• Recent ER travel experience within the past 6–8 months preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to arrival, including CBD products
