Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – California

Start Date: Immediate, ongoing PRN basis
Location: Multiple locations throughout California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible part-time schedule, 1-2 days per week depending on location; half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) shifts available

Highlights:

• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
• Primarily interview-based exams with physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
• Flexible PRN scheduling with options for half-day or full-day shifts
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• One-time completion bonus available after required training and first exam

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted California medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related general medicine specialty
• Current AANP certification
• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Own laptop required (Windows-based systems only)
• Willingness to complete DMA training and certification
• Must reside within specified radius of assignment location (typically 50 miles)
• Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days)
• May require own office space meeting specific accessibility and safety standards for certain locations
