Construction Materials Field Technician

Geotech Engineering and Testing is looking to hire a Construction Materials Field Technician.

No experience is needed, we offer on-the-job training but ACI, and SB102 certifications are preferred.

We also offer certification assistance.

If you have prior experience in the Geotechnical/CMT field, it is a plus.

The technician will be scheduled to various job sites/projects.

Job description:

• Must be able to work in all-weather climates.
• Assist Engineering Lab in testing and collecting concrete samples and soil samples.
• Inspect, test, and measure materials for conformance to specifications.
• Measure dimensions of products and verify conformance to specifications.
• Record inspection and data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, quantities inspected or graded, and locations.
• Report with great details such as grade and acceptance-rejection status.
• Other duties assigned by the Manager.

Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday and some Saturdays).

Compensation: Starting at $18 depending on experience and level of certification.
