Job Description:

As a Carpenter at Snelling, you will craft and repair structures, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Your expertise in various carpentry tasks will directly impact the integrity and outcome of construction endeavors.

Responsibilities:

• Carpentry Tasks: Handle trim carpentry, framing, and concrete forming.
• Project Execution: Work on restoration projects with meticulous attention to detail.
• Installations and Repairs: Perform siding installations and conduct necessary repairs.
• Material Handling: Engage in the heavy lifting of construction materials.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively on remodeling projects according to schematics.
• Cost Management: Source materials and negotiate costs effectively.
• Tool Maintenance: Keep all tools and equipment in excellent working condition.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Strong background in carpentry, especially in trim work and framing.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiar with restoration standards and concrete forming techniques.
• Physical Ability: Capable of heavy lifting and other demanding physical tasks.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, measuring tapes, and interpreting schematics.
• Additional Skills: Experience in siding installation and repair is advantageous.
