Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper

Are you a detail-oriented tax professional with a passion for helping clients navigate federal and state tax compliance? We're looking for an experienced Tax Accountant & Bookkeeper to join our team! This role offers a great opportunity to work with a firm that provides a wide range of financial services, including tax consulting, bookkeeping, financial planning, and more.

#### What You'll Do
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations (C-Corp, S-Corp), partnerships, and trusts.
- Manage full-charge bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Utilize tax preparation software (Lacerte preferred but not required), QuickBooks, Excel, and Adobe.
- Maintain strong time management and organizational skills while handling multiple client accounts.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide outstanding service.

#### What We're Looking For
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of tax preparation and bookkeeping experience.
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting.
- Skills & Certifications: QuickBooks certification or proficiency is preferred. Strong computer skills and familiarity with tax software are a plus.
- Work Environment: Preferably in-office, but remote work may be considered.

#### Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $24.00 - $30.00+ per hour (commensurate with experience and skill level).
