• Prepare daily revenue report for both for internal and corporate distribution.
• Review all City Ledger, guest ledger, and deposit ledger balances and communicate to department heads any deviation from established accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain responsibility for the daily Accounts Receivable credit, billing, and collection process.
• Partner with the Sales and Events Team by establishing customer credit, including but not limited to direct bill credit processing, credit limitation, and deposit requirements.
• Keep payment schedule on groups/functions and process deposits.
• Handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner, provide customers with accurate invoices, statements, and schedules.
• Investigate and process credit card chargebacks.
• Conduct monthly credit meetings 
• Keep management aware of any unusual allowances or financial occurrences and/or significant deviations.
• Assist with invoice processing and check printing as needed
• Assist in the monthly close process by posting journal entries assigned
• Post and deposit cash, checks and wires
• Reconcile monthly loyalty billing
• Maintain cashier safe and Provide change for operations team
• Conduct monthly bank audits
• Maintain all tax exemption records and spreadsheets

Requirements

• Hotel Accounting experience preferred.
• Excel experience required
