NOW HIRING: DUAL RECEIVING CLERK

Pay: $16.00–$20.00/Hour
Schedule: Day Shift
Location: La Porte, TX

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dual Receiving Clerk to join a busy industrial operation in La Porte, TX. This position offers a combination of office and warehouse responsibilities , making it ideal for someone who is comfortable working with computers and data entry while also being hands-on in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous industrial or warehouse experience , strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate a forklift for light material handling. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred and strongly encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and process incoming shipments and materials.
• Enter and maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and shipment information in computer systems.
• Verify quantities, product information, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain receiving paperwork, records, and reports.
• Perform data entry and other clerical duties related to warehouse and receiving operations.
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal teams regarding shipments and deliveries.
• Assist with organizing, labeling, and staging incoming materials.
• Possibly perform light forklift operation to move and position materials as needed.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and material handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
• Perform other office and warehouse duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in warehouse, receiving, shipping, manufacturing, or industrial environments .
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to accurately enter information and maintain detailed records.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse and industrial operations.
• Previous forklift experience preferred; ability to safely perform light forklift duties.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus and highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and transportation personnel.
