Employer: NASA Facilities Maintenance Division.
Location: Houston, Texas (77058).
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday (with overtime as needed).

Compensation:

• With Degree $105k DOE.
• No Degree with 10 years’ experience $95k DOE.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee construction projects, coordinate teams, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform assigned construction supervisor duties as a contracted employee onsite at the NASA Johnson Space Center. Supervising construction projects; ensuring architectural, mechanical, and electrical designs and drawings for new construction and remodeling projects meet professional and governmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Review and monitor project schedules, cost reports, and progress updates.
• Manage and support field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain clear communication with management and team members.
• Prepare and submit project status reports as required.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of construction experience OR degree in Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to lead effectively.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to obtain required NASA badge.

Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
• Prior experience supervising crews in industrial or commercial construction.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
