Our Finance team is a passionate, high-performing group committed to supporting PowerSchool operations through accurate and timely financial transaction management. The team provides critical business guidance on a broad range of accounting, reporting, and analytical projects, ensuring the integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities

Description

Our Accounting team manages business transactions on behalf of the organization, reporting on company performance, issuing financial statements, and maintaining financial records.

As a Staff Accountant , your day-to-day job will consist of:

• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations per the assigned deadlines,
  ensuring that any reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis.
• Prepare and post journal entry transactions including gathering and compiling appropriate supporting documentation.
• Analyze assigned GL Account, provide commentary for activity, transactions and interworkings.
• Support GL Team in day-to day and month-end closing processes.
• Maintain a great working relationship with all business partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year or less of relevant and related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite, Floqast or Coupa a plus
