Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Openwork is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong background in CNC milling to join a high-quality manufacturing operation in Houston. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and related equipment
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-code as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Select tooling and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
• Maintain quality standards and ensure accurate production output
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition
• Support team production goals while maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of CNC machining experience required
• Strong CNC milling experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset

Work Environment:

• Climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• Exposure to regulated materials requiring strict safety compliance
• Respirator use required; clean-shaven policy applies
• End-of-shift hygiene procedures required
