AUTOMOTIVE WELDER
Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform MIG, arc, and gas welding on automotive and heavy equipment components
- Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts and structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair solutions
- Use cutting tools, including oxy-acetylene torches and air carbon arc equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet production deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MIG, ARC, and gas welding experience; must pass weld test
- Able to work with various metals including steel, cast components, and aluminum
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure
- Must have steel-toe boots, FR clothing, welding hood & gloves
- Basic math skills
