Ground Support
At Southern Botanical, we’re more than a landscaping company — we’re a team of professionals dedicated to excellence, safety, and craftsmanship in everything we do. We’re looking for a Tree Care Groundsman to join our growing Tree Care division and support our crews on both residential and commercial properties.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with pruning, removals, and job site clean-up
- Operate and maintain tree care equipment (chainsaws, chippers, ropes, etc.)
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Help set up and close out job sites each day
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in tree care, landscaping, or related outdoor work (preferred, not required)
- A strong work ethic and commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Ability to perform physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or related field preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in arboriculture and tree operations
- Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate or learn to operate tree care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, ropes, and hand tools

Include external environment dealing with all weather and terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to hard hats, gloves, earplugs, safety vest and safety glasses. This position requires the ability to work during inclement weather events.
