New Development Marketing Manager
- Devise & develop a NA regional marketing plan to position Huntsman Polyurethanes as a premier solutions supplier.
- Develop an implementation strategy/product launch to penetrate new growth opportunities in target application segments.
- Assume the lead role for the NA Regional product Market Management Team.
- Lead and support the organization in Voice of the Customer (VOC) and blueprinting new opportunities.
- Determine future product needs for the business with validated value propositions.
- Develop a marketing communication and end use pull strategy to build awareness within the industry of existing and new offerings.
- Develop and implement a brand strategy for existing and new product offerings.
- Define key partners, capabilities and strategies to leverage Huntsman's strengths and relationships into new businesses.
- Work in a three in a box fashion with R&D, TS&D and Commercial to achieve business success on new projects at defined applications/accounts.
- Work closely with the other regional market managers responsible for assigned product area. Critical Success Factors:

- Identify and remove obstacles (e.g., ineffective policies, procedures) which interfere with rapid creation of new business opportunities.
- Motivates the project teams to be highly flexible, responding quickly and confidently to unanticipated marketplace changes.
- Uses knowledge and experience to identify market needs, trends, and issues and to develop long-term value-creating solutions for Dow. Seeks to thoroughly understand the customer's business environment, needs and value chain participation.
- Develops key industry relationships and understands critical performance requirements to promote success and create competitive advantage.
- Proactively identifies new areas for value creation and clearly defines them with comprehensive business plans.
- Develops and effectively communicates the framework for making strategic decisions with key stakeholders.
- BS in Business (marketing), Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. MBA or formal business training is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience, with previous marketing and or new business development experience is preferred.
- Priorities and decisions are made with clarity and in a timely fashion.
- Demonstrates and generates a sense of energy and excitement to deliver.
- Demonstrates thoroughness, cooperation, and follow-through with all functions.
- Self-motivated individual with a history of work-related successes.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and business acumen skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating at all levels of corporation
- Strong bias for action and ability to adapt quickly to new or ambiguous situations.
- Excellent strategic, project management, analytical and creative problem-solving ability.
- Innovation experience strongly desired
