Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Athens, TX 75751

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Athens, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio of 1:2 in a 10-bed intensive care unit with an average daily census of 8 patients. Weekend coverage required.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a well-supported ICU environment
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a critical care setting
• Epic charting system experience required
• 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; TNCC preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong critical care skills including ventilator management, titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips, arterial line management, central line care, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Experience with patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
