**Note: This is an application architect role, not an enterprise architect position. The Principal Architect will guide technical teams but is not a people manager. Compliance with federal regulations is paramount.

Lead the design and development of a high-transaction, regulatory-compliant system, prioritizing 100% compliance with federal regulations to protect the company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Â

Design a scalable, secure microservices architecture using NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL.

Ensure compliance with strict financial regulations, integrating security measures, API gateways, and IAM solutions.

Guide engineering teams as a technical manager, fostering innovation and adherence to architectural standards.

Develop integration strategies for third-party services, payment gateways, and compliance systems.

Monitor system performance, optimize for accuracy and reliability, and maintain thorough documentation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural vision with project goals.

Requirements:

Â

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years in software architecture, with 3+ years as a principal architect focused on Microservices Architecture and design patterns, including service discovery and load balancing

Expertise in NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL, with strong experience in high-transaction systems.

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevSecOps practices.

Deep understanding of API gateways, IAM (e.g., OAuth 2.0), and security standards (e.g., OWASP).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.
