Position: Residential Assistant Property Manager
We’re seeking a highly organized and experienced Residential Assistant Property Manager to support a high-volume residential portfolio. This role requires someone dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow directions with consistency and care. We’re looking for a professional who takes ownership of their work, communicates with clarity and respect, and contributes to a stable, accountable team culture, always being mindful of the energy they bring to the work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of residential and commercial properties
- Manage tenant and owner relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of property operations, tenant communications, and financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with property regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance repairs
- Create reports and perform routine audits
- Coordinate leasing activities, including managing applications, unit turns, and more
- Issue appropriate notices for late payments, eviction notices, non-renewals, and more
- Process payments, issue credits, or create charges for invoices and/or fees
- Verify the accuracy of all lease paperwork and processes move-ins and move-outs
- Assist with creating marketing campaigns and updating the website
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience is required.
- Experience using property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi)
- Professional communication style and solutions-focused, positive mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment
- Reliable transportation is required, as the role involves up to 10% local travel
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
- A Texas Real Estate License and Spanish fluency are a plus
