Field Sales Director, aHO (Central)

We are seeking an experienced sales leader who is agile, flexible and passionate about Rhythm’s mission and vision. As a Field Sales Director, you will be leading a team of Territory Managers who have sales responsibility for IMCIVREE for approved indications with a primary focus on Acquired Hypothalamic Obesity . This position is based in TX (Dallas or Houston) and covers the Central Region. Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketing, Business Operations, Training, Market Access, Patient Support Services, Medical, Legal, and Compliance to understand the needs and priorities of the Rhythm organization.
- Develop an effective business plan based on Marketing strategy and ensure effective implementation. Execute a compliant, tailored strategy by applying business analytics and marketplace knowledge.
- Provide strategic customer insights to the commercial team to help develop solutions for physicians and patients.
- Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with key national and regional opinion leaders.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable culture for the Territory Manager team.
- Ensure accurate capture and reporting of data by collaborating on the customization of the CRM and drive the training of teams for appropriate data reporting.
- Provide ongoing coaching, development, and oversight of the Territory Manager team to continuously improve skills and execute in achieving yearly objectives.
- Accomplish all corporate and administrative responsibilities with high levels of commitment and efficiency, including Healthcare Compliance training, review and completion of expense reports and other assignments by established deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 12+ years of pharmaceutical field sales experience.
- 5+ years of sales leadership preferred.
- Rare disease experience strongly preferred and launch experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory environment.
- Strong leadership skills in leading and inspiring high performing field teams.
- Proven track record of executing strategic and tactical plans that have delivered strong commercial results.
- Strong, proven performance management skills.
- Self-motivated, highly energetic individual with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and operational skills, with attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 80% as necessary.
The expected salary range for this position is $182,000-$275,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This role may be eligible for benefits and other compensation such as restricted stock units.
