PRN Nurse - IV Clinic

- IV Administration: Start and monitor IV therapy, ensuring safe and effective fluid administration.
- Client Monitoring: Assess client's physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment.
- Infection Management: Prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy.
- Assessment: Conduct physical assessments, including evaluating mental status, and identify any contraindications to IV therapy.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses.
- Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
- Education/Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Required Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical practice functions.
- Expertise in venous access with the ability to access peripheral veins. xrczosw
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in vascular access or IV infusion, with strong venous access skills.
- Skills:
- Excellent intravenous catheter placement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient confidentiality
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
- Problem-solving abilities and independent judgment
