Tentamus North America is seeking a Controller to oversee critical financial operations, drive cost efficiency, and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring financial stability, optimizing processes, and guiding leadership with data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include:
Cash Flow Management – Monitor daily cash flow, forecast quarterly trends, plan for foreign currency needs, and alert leadership to potential deficiencies.
Audit Liaison – Work with external auditors, gather required documents, implement reporting changes, and communicate audit findings to upper management.
Internal Controls & Risk Management – Analyze and improve internal controls, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and mitigate financial risk.
Budgeting & Forecasting – Partner with General Managers to develop annual budgets, update monthly forecasts, and load data into the ERP system for financial planning.
Financial Reporting – Oversee internal and external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and IAS standards.
Month-End Close – Manage journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L analysis, and intercompany reconciliations.
Inventory Oversight – Collaborate with warehouse staff for quarterly inventory counts, ERP adjustments, and asset safeguarding.
Cost Optimization – Identify inefficiencies, streamline financial operations, and optimize staff utilization.
Team Leadership – Mentor and train financial staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure cross-training for business continuity.
SCHEDULE & POSITION
This is a full–time, M-F, onsite position, with future hybrid eligibility, located at Analytical Food Laboratories in Grand Prairie, Texas.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely and without restrictions or sponsorship, hold Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred), and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; other qualifications include:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and IAS accounting principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, Excel, and financial modeling
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and Collections is a plus
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to leadership and teams
- Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
