About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in handling a full range of family law matters—including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, adoption, and protective orders—and is confident representing clients in court. This position offers autonomy, a steady caseload, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake to resolution.
• Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal advice.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and related filings.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Stay current on state and local family law regulations and case law.
• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records.
• Build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law.
• Confident in courtroom advocacy and client representation.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
• Ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
