Job Description:
The Accounting Assistant should be organized, responsible and trustworthy. Will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations.
1st Shift (Full Time)
Monday - Friday, some Saturdays possible
$16.00 hourly
Accounts Receivables Collections –
- Responsible for all accounts receivable duties
- Collections – contact customers on past dues and document correspondence
- Apply cash
- Research of customer short or over payments
General Ledger –
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Assist with GL account reconciliations
- Process Monthly journal entries
- Assist with gathering data for monthly reporting
Assist in all other areas of accounting department.
Dress Code:
Office/Business-like attire
Required Skills:
- Good communication in English and Spanish
- Able to work in a high speed rate
- Able to meet multiple deadlines while ensuring minimal errors
- Requires communication with all levels of personnel and customers
- Office skills to include: Typing WP 40 words per minute, Organizational Skills, Data Entry, Document Control, Copying, 10 key, Excel and Word.
- Specialized Areas Skills in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Collections
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma and specialized or technical training
- 2+ years in related experience
- Must satisfactorily pass a drug test
- Must satisfy I-9 requirements
- Background check clearance
