HR Specialist
Position: HR Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: M-Th (flexible) and Fridays - Half day
Pay: $33.25 - $36 / Hour DOE
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Description:
- New Hire Onboarding
- Terminations
- DISA Compliance
- Benefits Administration
- Leave Administration
- Regulatory & Compliance Tasks
- Other general HR operations
- Accounting support: weekly Invoices, employee timesheets, etc.
- Recruiting Support
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in administrative, HR, accounting, or similar operational roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with HRIS, benefits platforms, or invoicing software is a plus (QuickBooks preferred).
