Plumbing Apprentices - APPLY HERE!

When there is a need we will bring plumbing apprentices onto the team to build and equip them as stellar licensed plumbers for the future. We have not determined when we will be bringing our next round of apprentices to the team, but it you would like to be considered for that please continue with this application process. Please know that you will not hear anything back right away, but we will reach out when we begin that process of accepting apprentice plumbers again.

Job Description:

• Installing residential drain, waste, and vent piping
• Ensuring everything installed to state, city and Milestone standards
• Acquiring knowledge, experience, and hours towards plumbing license
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Being willing to learn the Milestone system
• Providing a memorable experience for each customer

Skills, Education and Experience:

• Valid Apprentice Plumbing license through Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners required
• 3-6 months residential install experience preferred
• Clean driving record and current valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
• Works well in team environment

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
• Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet
• Must have mental skills such as critical thinking , problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
• Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints.
• Must be able to complete a Job Physical Assessment
