Press Brake Operator (Amada Experience Required) – Direct Hire

Location: Pflugerville, TX
Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour DOE
Type: Direct Hire

Balance Staffing is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator with hands-on Amada press brake experience for a direct hire opportunity in Pflugerville, TX. This position is ideal for someone who has independently set up and operated Amada equipment in a production environment and takes pride in producing precision sheet metal components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machines.
• Select and install the proper punches and dies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Produce precision bends while maintaining tight tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment cleaning.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Recent experience operating Amada press brake machines is required.
• Ability to perform complete machine setups.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Experience using calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of shop math, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand throughout the shift.
• Must be able to complete E-Verify.
