What You'll Do:

As a Shipping & Receiving Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Shipping & Receiving Lead will have a strong background in logistics, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team. This opportunity will define and implement procedures within the department area of responsibility to ensure alignment with other departments/teams. The Shipping & Receiving Lead will also assist site leadership during customer meetings and audits and/or regulatory inspections

What We're Looking For:

• Accountable for department specific metrics and driving continuous improvement of results.
• Effectively lead department activities to ensure all customer shipping requirements are met and performed safely.
• Develop, update, and conduct training on procedures and work instructions in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review daily workload to ensure adequate availability of resources.
• Communicate delays, issues, and changes with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure that material returns are processed in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate the completion of quality records for changes to shipping processes from validations and customer requests.
• Review transactions (i.e., Cycle Counts inventory investigations) and provide direction on contributing causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain audit readiness in all relevant areas (Receiving, Shipping, Warehouse).
• Maintain and implement 5S standards within the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Physical Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3+ years shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• 1+ years of supervising or leadership experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Office applications.
• SAP logistics and warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, and possess a strong work ethic and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask.
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
