Pastry Production Lead Dual Position (June s All Day & Neighborhood Sushi)
The pastry department at June s focuses on scratch-baked pastries, plated desserts, and house-made ice creams. We are looking for a talented pastry production professional to join our two-person team in a dual role producing product for both June s All Day and Neighborhood Sushi . We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and organized candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail. Flexible availability is required, including holidays and weekends.
This is an hourly position with a pay range of $20 $25 per hour , based on experience.
June's All Day is a small neighborhood food and wine-focused cafe on South Congress. The menu is casual, and the atmosphere is fun and exciting. June s All Day is part of the locally owned and operated McGuire Moorman Hospitality group. MMH offers competitive financial compensation and health benefits.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of direct pastry experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in scratch baking and production environments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Desire to continue learning and developing food knowledge
- Positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team
