Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med Surg Telemetry position on a 30-bed Stroke/Urology unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

• Position is located on a 30-bed Stroke and Urology (Med Surg Telemetry) unit
• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract
• Epic is used for charting
• Navy or maroon scrubs required

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating patient condition, and carrying out physician and nursing orders
• Coordinates discharge planning needs with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
