We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal II to join a legal team in Dallas, Texas for a Contract position supporting a time-sensitive document review initiative. This assignment is expected to last 4–6 weeks, with the possibility of extension, and will suit someone who can quickly contribute in a fast-moving environment. The role focuses on reviewing records, applying accurate redactions, and helping prepare materials for legal and compliance-related responses while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Responsibilities:• Review large volumes of legal and business records to identify content that requires careful handling or removal before release.
• Apply precise redactions to sensitive information, including personal data and employee-related details, using appropriate document tools.
• Organize files and supporting materials so the legal team can respond efficiently to requests and production deadlines.
• Partner with attorneys and internal stakeholders to keep document review work on schedule and aligned with legal requirements.
• Assist in preparing response packages and related materials for disclosure, discovery, or records-request matters.
• Maintain accurate handling of confidential information while following established compliance and records-management practices.
• Use document management and PDF editing tools to process, track, and finalize reviewed materials.
• Provide dependable support in a deadline-driven setting, including occasional onsite collaboration as needed.• Prior experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar setting.
• Demonstrated background in document review and redaction for sensitive or legally protected information.
• Ability to manage high-volume assignments with accuracy while meeting compressed timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when working with confidential records.
• Comfortable working independently while also coordinating effectively with a broader legal team.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with electronic document or records-management systems.
• Exposure to e-discovery, discovery responses, FOIA, public records, or open records request workflows is strongly preferred.
