Senior Manager, Product Management
As a Senior Manager, Product Management on the Customer & Developer Experience team, you’ll own the strategy for foundational capabilities that shape how customers and internal users experience the Pismo platform every day. You’ll lead a team of product managers and partner with cross-functional leaders across product, technical, and client-facing teams to drive the next generation of infrastructure powering the Pismo Developers Portal and Pismo Control Center. Success in this role requires a unique blend of hands-on technical ownership with strategic leadership to craft a compelling vision of scalability, security, and extensibility, laying the groundwork for future customer, product, and team growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the strategic vision for the web application and platform shared services that power the Pismo Developers Portal and Control Center.
- Lead and grow a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative, high-ownership culture and mentoring PMs to be strong technical product leaders.
- Drive hands-on platform product work, engaging deeply with APIs, architecture tradeoffs, and technical design alongside engineering.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to prioritize product investments that balance near-term needs with long-term scalability and resilience.
- Define and track success metrics and continuously improve platform quality, performance, and reliability.
- Represent the product strategy and outcomes to senior leadership with clarity, confidence, and impact.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 3+ years of people management experience with a focus on mentoring and building collaborative, accountable teams. Experience managing global and/or remote teams preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience owning software platform or shared services roadmaps, including web applications, REST APIs, and system integrations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization, from engineers to executives.
- Strategic leadership experience directing prioritization and roadmap management across multiple Agile development teams.
- Deep commitment to quality throughout the product life cycle, including non-functional aspects such as integrity, resilience, and scalability.
- Proficiency with product analytics to measure customer and business value, validate decisions, and uncover meaningful opportunities for improvement.
- Hands-on and technically curious, with a willingness to dive into technical details, read API docs, experiment with endpoints, and collaborate closely with engineering.
- Passion for creating platforms that empower developers and unlock organizational velocity.
- Experience in Fintech, Banking, Payments, or IT is a plus.
- Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 162,500.00 to 260,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
