Duties

• Lead information technology (IT) teams to deliver business capabilities for critical ordering platforms in business-to-business (B2B) operations.
  Define business objectives and tactical operations to achieve company goals.
• Coordinate priorities between the IT department and user departments.
• Oversee technical team in collaboration with vendor and other support teams for problem resolution.
• Drive process and technology changes throughout the organization in support of business objectives.
• Monitor technology investment, risk, and opportunity while providing clear and consistent communication to senior IT leadership.
• Expand adoption of existing technology, where appropriate, to leverage enterprise solutions that meet or exceed business-partner demands.
• Manage and respond to business-partner feedback to enable continuous improvement.
• Proactively advise on technology options and innovation for the business.
• Serve as a partner in provider leadership for technology solutions and implementations.
• Develop and recommend changes to systems, policies, and procedures.
• Create measures for successful program execution, including policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
• Proactively work with IT Architecture team to design a robust, flexible set of services and capabilities that are efficient and cost-effective.
• May telecommute but must reside near Miramar, Florida, headquarters or Dallas, Texas, office.
• Requires up to 20% domestic travel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or related field; plus 5 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or similar role.
• At least 1 year of experience as a software development manager or similar leadership capacity.
• Knowledge of REST, Java, GraphQL, JavaScript or Type Script, Docker or Containerization, AWS or GCP.
• Certification in SAFe Scrum Master, Microsoft Azure Cloud Fundamentals, and AWS Cloud Practitioner.
