Software Developer
POSITION SUMMARY: The Software Developer will join our dynamic development team, focused on enhancing and supporting our core payroll and ERP integration solutions. This role is ideal for a developer passionate about learning and improving technology while working collaboratively in a team environment that values accountability, innovation, and growth. The Software Developer will work primarily with .NET and other related technologies, contributing to ongoing development efforts, optimizing existing processes, and helping drive technical success.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
● Web Development:
○ Participate in the development and optimization of web applications using C#/VB.Net, REST APIs with WebApi 2 or ASP MVC, and SQL. (Intermediate)
○ Support backend development processes, ensuring robust and secure data handling within application architecture. (Intermediate)
● Collaborative Development:
○ Engage in team-oriented development projects, contributing ideas for process and code improvements, optimizing for scalability and performance. (Intermediate)
○ Work closely with team members to troubleshoot, resolve, and document code issues, following best practices in code review and testing. (Intermediate)
○ Maintaining existing integrations and applications written in VB.Net
○ Migrating existing VB.Net Framework apps/sites to C# .Net Core
● Integration & ERP Familiarity:
○ Gain and apply knowledge on integrating ERP solutions, including systems like Acumatica and Sage Intacct, to enhance product functionality. (Intermediate)
○ Building new integrations between Enterprise Resource Planning systems and UKG Ready in C#
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
● Technical Skills:
○ 3 to 5 years of hands-on web development experience using .NET technologies, with a solid grasp of C#/VB.Net, REST API (WebApi 2 or ASP MVC), and SQL. (Intermediate)
○ Exposure to ERP systems (such as Acumatica and Sage Intacct)
○ Solid understanding of DevOps practices, cloud environments, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD)
● Problem Solving & Improvement Focus:
○ Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve backend processing issues effectively, showing a desire for continual improvement and learning. (Intermediate)
○ Openness to learning from team members and exploring new ideas to enhance development processes. (Intermediate)
● Communication & Team Collaboration:
○ Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and a team-oriented mindset. (Intermediate)
○ Effective communicator who values constructive feedback and team contributions. (Intermediate)
CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
● Experience:
○ 3 to 5 years of experience in web development, with practical exposure to backend processing.
○ Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Acumatica and Sage Intacct, is preferred.
● Technical Proficiency:
○ Proficient in C#/VB.Net, REST APIs, WebApi 2 or ASP MVC, and SQL.
● Travel Requirement:
○ Ability to travel as needed, ideally once per year, for team collaboration or professional development.
NOTE: The salary for this position is between $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually, plus bonus potential.
