As part of the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Functional Domain, our team leads the implementation of DevSecOps practices that enable secure, reliable, and modern software delivery across cuttingedge UAS platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that support the compilation, testing, containerization, and deployment of application code. In this role, you will focus on implementing reliable, automated pipelines that enable development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely. You will collaborate closely with cloud, software, and security teams to ensure pipelines integrate cleanly with Azure cloud environments and align with program and security requirements. You will be hands-on in configuring pipeline stages, automating workflows, and integrating build, test, and deployment processes using GitLab CI/CD and related tooling. You will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support consistent and repeatable deployments, contribute to monitoring and logging integrations, and help enforce security baselines within CI/CD workflows. You will also assist engineering teams by providing guidance on pipeline standards, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps best practices.

YOUR IMPACT

Your work will directly improve the speed, reliability, and security of software delivery across programs. By building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, you will enable teams to deploy consistently and with confidence while reducing manual effort and operational risk. You will play a key role in strengthening DevSecOps practices by improving pipeline reliability, integrating automation, and supporting secure deployment processes. Through your hands-on contributions, youll help create a stable foundation that supports both current development efforts and future platform growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate code compilation, testing, containerization, and deployment across GitLab CI, and integrated Azure services


• Collaborate with cloud, software, and security teams to ensure pipeline design, infrastructure, and security controls align with Azure cloud architecture and program requirements


• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments


• Provide enablement and mentorship by guiding engineering teams on secure coding practices, pipeline standards, and DevSecOps best practices


• Apply continuous monitoring and log analysis to detect anomalies, enforce security baselines, and improve operational visibility across environments


• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and security issues to maintain system reliability, performance, and availability

Travel up to 10% may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)


• Experience building, maintaining, and automating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD


• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)


• Experience with Python and scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell


• Experience working with Linuxbased operating systems

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 6 years to be considered.

Desired Skills:

• Experience operating and supporting workloads in an Azure cloud environment


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible


• Experience automating workflows and integrating tools within CI/CD and cloud environments


• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)


• Experience using Agile software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD platforms)


• Current Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $111,700 - $193,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
