We are actively seeking a skilled Payroll & Accounting Administrator to support their growing team. Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience – preferably in a construction setting
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting support
• Minimum 3 years working in the construction industry
• Experience using Sage 100 Contractor is strongly preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word are a must

Key Responsibilities:

• Weekly Payroll Processing:
  Manage payroll for 30–35 in-house employees through Sage 100 Contractor. Validate time entries against jobsite logs, sign-in sheets, and work schedules. Prepare Excel-based payroll submissions for temporary field staff—ranging from 30 to 75 individuals depending on season.
• Time Off & Leave Tracking:
  Maintain and update PTO balances, process vacation requests, and track employee leave.
• Onboarding Oversight:
  Ensure new hire paperwork is complete and accurate, including collecting valid IDs, certifications, and training records. Confirm that all labor posters are up to date in the office and at field locations.
• Accounting Support:
  Assist the Controller with regular accounting functions such as reconciling company credit cards, processing accounts payable, and other routine accounting tasks.
• Injury Documentation:
  Organize and maintain all workers’ compensation records related to jobsite injuries and coordinate with relevant parties as needed.
• Office Support:
  Provide backup coverage for the front office, including answering multi-line phones and routing calls appropriately.
