Warranty Administrator

Processes customer and supplier warranty claims in Liebherr Warranty Manager and/or LISA CPS. Create and process warranty related service processes in LISA SMS. Gathers all supporting documentation in order to complete the processing of warranty claims within the required processing times. Ensures that claims contain all the required information and details in order to allow suppliers to process warranty claims on receipt. Determines or assists the Spare Parts and/or Service teams with establishing shipping addresses as required. Create and process Warranty Spare Parts Sales Orders in the ERP system.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

• Process customer and supplier warranty claims.
• Process warranty related sales orders.
• Process all warranty related service processes.
• Work with the Service Coordinator to collect all warranty claim supporting documentation.
• Process all warranty claims within the required time-lines.
• Call customers and arrange pickup of warranty parts that need to be returned.
• Process credit notes for new parts being returned.
• Upon receipt of new or core parts, call customer and verify reason for return and to make sure proper paperwork is filled out.
• Follow up on credit notes for core returns.
• Accept all credit notes or denial letters from the factory and process any credit due to customers.
• Filing of all warranty claim correspondence.
• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring the group and self-follow established safety procedures.

Competencies

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent education with a minimum of one to three years of experience in a parts or similar environment.
• Ability to interface with all levels of staff.
• Proficiency is using the ERP system and other Liebherr applications in order to process claims
• Demonstrates ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in PC based word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to multi-task while completing work in a competent and professional manner.
• Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends as needed.
