What Your Day Looks Like: Your day is filled with outside sales, customer service, business management/dEVelopment and collaboration with the dealership team. Know how a dealership works and being able to navigate the multiple layers and contacts for maximum productivity is paramount. You'll go after dealership EV leads in an attempt to capture customers at the Point of Sale (POS), capture new & used EV car sales, cultivate our dealership's EV charging installation bundle program, enable free service & prEVentative maintenance for all the dealership's EV charging needs, no hassle process + help compliment their EV sales business w/ our EV charging concierge services while getting in front of the decision makers (GM) to explain the value of our services and get our dealership agreements signed into place. You’ll answer emails and phone calls from car buyers needing home EV charging advice and service customers while using your knowledge base to ensure that they get the right products and solutions for their needs. You bring them in and our sales team will handle the rest, i.e. schedule on-site assessments, installations, coordinate dropships, and provide the best customer service around, all you have to do is manage it all. You’re the main point of contact for all things EV/car dealerships. HQ'd in Austin, TX we also have markets into the top 50 EV friendly cities across the nation of which you'll also be able to tap into in order to generate lead capture and higher volumes once our HQ territory has reached peak performance.
What You’ll Need to Succeed: The ideal EV Dealership Manager handles EVerything outside sales for the entire company regarding dealership referrals. You'll need to have at a minimum five years or more of related car dealership sales experience. You’ll have a base knowledge of electrical systems, sales, business dEVelopment and electric vehicles, EVen if you don’t drive one yourself. (We’ll give you ours specific training and sales use, but a working knowledge of EVs and EV charging will be helpful!) Multi-tasking and staying organized will be critical for your success. You’ll be proficient in Google Suite and Copper (our internal CRM) as well as experience with Mac computers. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, strong interpersonal skills, and a problem-solving attitude will set you apart from other candidates.
